Everything begins with the memory of the place.

REIMS 502 takes its name from a physical space: an intimate and foundational address; the REIMS building, apartment 502, in Pedregal 2, south of Mexico City.

There, amidst the echoes of Mexican modernism, the extensive gardens, the volcanic stone, the exposed brick, the pathways, the olive-green roofs, and the sound of the Magdalena River running beneath the windows, a personal way of feeling, seeing, and inhabiting the world was born. In Pedregal 2, each apartment tower was distinguished by the name of a French city in large bronze letters. By a coincidence, the REIMS building shared its name with a surname; over time, that name became home, memory, and origin.

We believe that we all treasure places like this: spaces, pathways, and atmospheres that remain with us and shape us. From this certainty arises our way of understanding architecture: as a practice capable of touching people's lives, building memories, and leaving a positive mark on those who inhabit what we design.

We aspire to work with those who identify with our vision, our craft, and our values; with those who find added value in design and believe in architecture as an agent of action, influence, and change. We seek to exercise a sensitive, passionate, honest, and ethical practice, grounded in research, observation, experimentation, and a deep understanding of the site, its influences, and its possibilities.

We share a collective intention: to explore, learn, and contribute to the architectural practice of our country. We work from respect, collaboration, and care for the craft, convinced that architecture is not built solely with matter, art, technique, and knowledge, but also with memory, trust, and a deep responsibility toward the future.
